“Proud of our De Groote Heide nature border park.” This is the theme for 2020! And we are not only proud of the beautiful area, but also of the cooperation with our partners. Because it is only by working together that we can make De Groote Heide even more beautiful. In 2020, we will therefore continue to work together to improve De Groote Heide nature border park.
In De Groote Heide nature border park six municipalities have joined forces to allow everyone to enjoy the beautiful nature this area has to offer. And very municipality is unique.
From the masterpieces of Heeze-Leende, smuggling history of Cranendonck, the abbey in Hamont-Achel, goat riders and Teuten in Pelt, canoeing and shopping in Valkenswaard to Eindhoven's design and innovation.Combined with the trademark hospitality of Limburg (BE) and Brabant (NL), the many outdoor cafes and Burgundian lifestyle, the municipalities of De Groote Heide are an ideal destination for a day, weekend or week-long getaway.
